talentmap Version 1.1 Released

Version 1.1 of the talentmap went live on 19th August.
This is a significant step forward and contains some major improvements from the initial version - launched across the UK on 7th July.
The highlights of Version 1.1 are:
- Nearly 100 sites now being searched by the tool (see list below). More will be added in September/October;
- Search matching improved and numbers of apparent duplicates reduced;
- Volunteering and Regulatory filters have been added to the Content Type; and
- Planning functionality improved so that notes, searches and whole plans can be deleted.
Project Director Graham Hasting-Evans says, "It is recognised that more is to be done,
particularly with regard to duplicated content coming through from some content provider
sites. Our analysis shows that there are three main reasons for this and we will be working,
together with our content partners, to mitigate the impact."
The number of content partner sites has now reached the 100 mark - up from 44 at launch. These
